Day 1: Madrid-Los Angeles (California) (March 29, 2014).
Starting point in Madrid Barajas airport. California is the largest state of the U.S. for bikers. Practically in every garage there is a motorcycle and Harley Davidson is part of the brands that give the caracter to American pride. It is a part of its history and one of the best shows of its powerful industry. California has a population of 38 million and covers an area of 410,000 km ². Nearly 75% of Spain It is the most populous state in the USA and the third at greater length. Our route links the best of state starting in Los Angeles with basic references of Monterrey and the coast with its beach cities, San Francisco, Yosemite, Orange County, Sequoia National Park Fresno.
Day 2: Los Angeles – Santa Barbara 150 km (March 30, 2014)
Leaving Los Angeles by the coast road linking some of their most renowned cities like Malibu, Ventura and Santa Barbara. We follow the coast road Nº 1, linking one after the other the beaches of the California coast. Overnight in one of the typical American roadside motels. With the bike on the door of your room. As the first day Los Angeles pass out, to take pictures and meet the most traditional of the city with the Harley, as the walk of the stars, and the sign of Holywood famed destination we look like the nearby population of Santa Barbara, where the Spanish colonial church foundation. As in all Califronia Spanish names of places and populations are common.
Día 3: Santa Bárbara Monterey. (31 Marzo 2014)
A day to enjoy the scenery and the freedom to drive a Harley down the road Nº 1 in California, the most famous of the entire state, and many among the three most beautiful stretches of road in the world. The route starts along the coast but soon have turn through pass Santa Maria and come back to the Pacific Ocean in Pismo Beach and Avila Beach. There are a lot of Spanish names in California towns not in vain ‘missions Spanish religious were the first to colonize this region of the American Wild West. Another reference is San Luis Obispo a great city that will cross to head back to the coast along the Cabrillo High way. In Morro Bay and will not leave the coast and north this spectacular stretch of route to Monterey, the reference for tonight.
Day 4 : Monterrey-San Francisco (April 1, 2014)
Day 5 : San Francisco and surrondings. ( April 2 , 2014 ) Today we reach the magical city of San Francisco. The distance that separates us from Monterrey is short and will give us time to stay and devote ourselves to savor the fantastic city of hills and the Golden Gate Bridge across the bay. Walk around the streets with trams, and more like the street called twisted in the world. We will be two nights in this city and in the same hotel to get to know the city.
The second day in San Francisco, we will have a bike route for going around the bridge to Sausalito where you have some of the best views of the city.
Day 6: San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, Fresno (April 3, 2014)
We left San Francisco in search of the inside California. Overcoming the pre-coastal plains have before the great mountain range of the Sierra Nevada. In winter many mountain passes may be closed, by spring the sun shines hard, but can make some cold. If you get this cleared up inside Yosemite National Park, one of the most renowned American landscape. Gigantic trees with hundreds of years of life rise to over 100 meters. They are the largest living vegetable on Earth.
Day 7: Fresno – Sequoia National park-Death Valley.( 4 April, 2014 )
From Fresno and looking south over the Sierra Nevada mountain range. To the south the ridge ends and we turn to the east, in search of another place especially unique, Death Valley famous in the history of American colonization of the west. It is a dry desert with dunes, salt flats and mountains of colors. In the heart of the park a tourist area with museums and accommodations. A great place to see the stars in the nigth like only you can seen in the deserts.
Day 8: Death Valley – Mojave. ( 5 April 2014 )
A new day of bike to travel within the state of California. Territory legendary tribes like the Apaches, Sioux and Cheyenne. Direct travel due south to another most significant sites of the region Mojave National Park and its unique cactus. By the way ghost towns, and memories of the indigenous groups of the area as popularized by cinema. a place to feel like a true settler riding a Harley Davidson.
Day 9: Mojave -Great Canyon (6 April 2014)
A long day on the highways and national Nevada. Status changed and enter another of the most mythologized by movies “Western”. Our destination today is the grand Canyon. As much as you have been told or seen pictures of the place always surprises this great canyon can be seen from the moon. We will have time to visit the South Rim, the south side of Canyon without doubt the most spectacular views. The accommodation to the edges of this natural wonder.
Día 10 Gran Cañón del Colorado- Las Vegas. (7 Abril 2014 )
Last day of travel. Nearly 400 miles separate us from the city of Las Vegas. The roads are straight so that we can arrive shortly after noon. We will have time to deliver the bikes at the collection point and use the van for commuting. We will choose a good hotel to celebrate the Great Farewell dinner.
